MY NEW JOB. I LOVE IT

 Hi friends,

Happy weekend!!!!

I should probably be having fun with my friends but naah I chose to happy myself here.  But then nothing so special than eating and watching movie. Doing laundry is a Saturday ritual but am going to change date and get it replaced by telling the story on how my week went down.

Before I start, I need to tell you that am back to Ghana again. lol some of you don't even care to know or probably will ask who the hell is this girl? (laughing) i made myself a superstar. As i was saying jor, I change my workplace, usually I do internship in a logistics company in Lagos,Nigeria but currently I chose to work for my school Pentecost university in Ghana and I tell you, what I thought might be boring turned out to be the most happiest place I have ever worked in my life. Most time I hear successful people use these statement “I LOVE MY JOB” I did wonder how on earth they can love their job. Is it possible? When will I ever say that? Lots and lots of things keep popping into my head. And wow!!! I did say and I keep saying am loving it here on campus as a worker.

I came to Ghana on the 29th of September, 2012. Apparently the journey seems like the other ones. Me, my luggage’s and school. Although I was scared…cause I have a well paid job in Nigeria (internship though) but I need to take a few adventure, explore the opportunity that I have and exercise some in-dependency. But hey I took decision and followed my heart and am here.

ABC terminal Lagos Nigeria

However, this is a preliminary report on my job so far, if I say I don’t anticipate changes I lie but then I hope for the best babes. Mondays and Tuesdays was boring  at work but interesting as I get to catch –up with my juniors at school.

Administrative block of Pentecost University Campus.

The building there is where my office is located.

And then Wednesday was the biggest and unexpected work day i’ve ever had, it started with a morning devotion for all staff and then to a corporate chat with my boss, then to reviewing of all files in my cabinet and opening new once, then to mapping an action plan with my boss towards the next day event which will take place on campus and then and then and then.
OMG!! Thursdays and Friday was not left out too as the work became so huge and stressful but you know what? i love it…. Am loving it

Me!!!
hey guys this is what I have to say…
I have a desire and I follow it.
I was scared of my decision but I made the bold step anyway.
I got control of my life #independence.

follow your heart and learn to take responsibility of your actions. mom, dad and every one else are they to guild you as am doing right now but that does not mean you should follow into our footstep, instead use it as an inspiration to create your own path. am doing it. you should do so.

see life in another direction

www.bellanaija.com
Good day everyone,
Please do not ask me while I’av been absent for the past few weeks or even month. I might as well call myself a bad blogger. But I have so many crises around me which needed my attention and decision making was very difficult for me. ummmmh, but I found my life revolving in another direction of which am thinking is the right thing and the right time to make the right decision or choice if I may put it that way in my life.
However this decision/choice made is to be told someday, but am beginning by re-branding and defining my life.
During my period of silence I did realize that making decision and choices is a tough one, and there is no simple decision or anyhow choice to be made in our life journey except if you do not have a direction and purpose in life.
I have come to realize that life is not just about living, is about making a mark on earth. It is not necessary about making a big picture for people to see and view YES it can be…..but it starts with the little things you do in your life, family, school, business, community, church name them. but the point is, you must do those things which you love doing and put your best in it.
But par-adventure you think along the way that is not working out the way you think…pause, take a few minutes and flashback as in why did you even chose that direction at the first place? if your answers makes sense to you push on and focus on the prize but if it does not. Think of life as a re-boot and start all over again.
….and that is exactly what am doing.
HAVE A SAFE DAY PEOPLE

Rules in R/Ships

Hello Everyone,
I was surfing through the internet and i came across this on someone's blog, an article written by Doug E Douglas... loved it and thought to share to you all.
Enjoy ......!!!

“If I’d observed all the rules, I’d never have got anywhere” – Marilyn Monroe
“Civilization had too many rules for me, so I did my best to rewrite them” – Bill Cosby
“There are no rules when it comes to love” – Taylor Swift

I find it most amusing that whenever relationship issues are being discussed, there is always a stereotypical “feminist” who is usually single and quite vocal about the rules or high standards she sets for her potential partners. While it’s all well and good that people set standards for themselves, I have read some of these “rules” and some of them are just ridiculous.
Let’s talk about some of the rules I’ve heard recently and the issues I have with them.

“My boyfriend must not have more than 80 BBM contacts on his phone”

“I can’t cook for my boyfriend” ***Am a victim here oooo but the truth is when i asked to cook for him he said no, don't worry, not now****

“I cannot date a person that doesn’t have a functioning air conditioner in his car”.
I think it’s important that readers understand that I’m writing from a man’s perspective and that’s why I’m giving examples relating to women, it’s not like I’m bitter towards women or anything like that.
Like I said, thresholds and standards are necessary for every person to determine one’s goals and objectives and also serve to highlight the progress we are making as individuals in realizing the same, on the other hand, I also believe that a person shouldn’t enter into a long term relationship with preconceived rules and regulations because if you like/love someone well enough, you will cut them some slack and be willing to make sacrifices for them. I think it actually makes more sense to sit down with your partner and tell him/her what you find acceptable and what you don’t.

Let me make elaborate: if you say your boyfriend shouldn’t have more than 80 BBM contacts, what if he works in an industry where it is necessary for him to network and BBM is one of the channels through which he does? Let’s look at the example of the girl who said she wont cook for her boyfriend. If you go and spend a weekend at his house, will you continue to let him buy take-out when you can make a decent home cooked meal? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think guys have any divine right to expect to be fed by women but if you know how to make a decent meal, will you deny yourself and him that just to make a point? For instance, I can’t cook to save my life. My kitchen is pretty much deserted most of the time so I don’t expect any girl that comes to visit me to cook for me because I know how to sort myself out. If, however she suggests it I’ll go along. A girl that can cook is convenient for someone like me because I can’t but it is by no means the only criteria I’ll consider before dating a woman.
The last example about the girl that said she won’t date a guy that doesn’t have a functioning air conditioning in his car, I wont give the comment any credence, it’s all sorts of unreasonable.
It would be unfair to forget the “90 day rule” while we are at it. I’m sure this topic has been beaten to death but I really wonder about it. What does it seek to achieve? I believe that the fact that you deny a guy sex for 3 months does not in any way guarantee he will be more committed to you. What if the sex is disappointingly bad after making him wait for 90 days? What if he meets someone else within that period and she has sex with him first? There are so many “What ifs” to consider in relation to this scenario.  Don’t get me wrong, I’m not advocating for one night stands but I feel that women should have sex when they feel comfortable enough to and not because of some silly rule. Sometimes we need to just go along with our gut instinct, we will make mistakes but life is about making decisions, making mistakes and learning valuable lessons from them.

I also think the relationships that last the longest are those ones that no one and this includes the parties to the relationship gave a chance for success. As they say, love is about making sacrifices, love is about giving and taking so why so many rules and regulations? Even if you adhere to theses rules and regulations and you meet someone that fits those criteria, if along the way that person fall short, will that be grounds for a break-up? I fully understand that there are some “deal breakers” and there are just some things we can’t live with as individuals so I suggest we don’t sweat the small stuff and look at the big picture. What do you think?

The 26-year-old actress reportedly had a public meltdown and was asked to leave Hollywood hotspot Bootsy Bellows when she refused to share the VIP area with Clint Eastwood's daughter Francesca, who was celebrating her birthday at the venue.
An onlooker at the exclusive club told US Weekly: "Francesca was celebrating her birthday with around a dozen friends in a private area when Lindsay came over and started screaming that Francesca should leave.
"She was yelling, 'I'm a star, she's a nobody, get her out of here!'
